Well, hi!

This is me, Rob...

Web developer and technical lead who makes award-winning websites and applications for brands, charities and individuals.

I also like a bit of adventure. In the past few of years I've hitch-hiked an aeroplane, sailed across an ocean and cycled the entire length of a continent. Just for the hell of it.

Why not get in touch, view my work or read more about me?

About Me

Good with computers, among other things

My name is Robert Sargent and I’ve been working in London as a web developer and technical lead in digital media production since 2005. My experience spans a number of sectors including advertisting, mobile and e-learning.

I've worked in both a full-time and freelance capacity with several leading studios such as B-Reel, Hi-ReS!, SapientNitro and Syzygy on campaigns and interactive experiences for the likes of Burberry, Microsoft, Nike, Nokia, O2 and Warner Music.

Whatever you do will be insignificant,
but it is very important that you do it.
Mahatma Gandhi

In order to satisfy a craving for working outdoors I volunteer at a farm in South London as a vegetable grower. I regularly sail and scuba dive and I am obsessed with cycling and bicycles. I ride with the London Baroudeurs, a club I participated in founding a few years ago.

I'm very curious about the world, its places, people and cultures. As a traveller I'm probably a little more adventurous than most. In the past few years I've sailed 6000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean and embarked on a solo expedition to cycle 10,000 miles from Colombia to Tierra del Fuego.

Travelling in this way has taught me the value of tolerance, adaptability and self-reliance and brought me closer to the people and cultures I encountered along the way. Some of the photography from that journey is featured on this website.
